Management of traffic demands by applying the congestion pricing policy (CP) can significantly contribute to reducing traffic congestion and its negative impacts. However, after insufficient public and political support for the CP policy during implementation, as well as the application of the MC policy, which is based only on research in hypothetical situations, a hybrid management model was proposed. Bearing in mind the above, the objective of this study is to analyze the factors that influence the acceptability of the hybrid model, which represents combination of the previously mentioned policies (CP+MC). Abstract

The sudden development of urbanization in cities consequently affects the degree of motorization of the population. Due to the imbalance between traffic demands and traffic supply, cities, and especially their central city zones (CZ), face the problem of traffic congestion. Management of traffic demands by applying the congestion pricing policy (CP) can significantly contribute to reducing traffic congestion and its negative impacts.
