Thermal Waters of Zakarpattia as a Tourist Product Component (on the Example of the "Vidviday" Company Tours)

Abstract

The article highlights one of the types of balneological resources of Ukraine – thermal waters of Zakarpattia as an important resource of wellness tourism. The main thermal pools and health-improving complexes, which operate on the basis of thermal waters in the region, are characterized, in particular, centers in Berehove ("Zhaivoronok"), Solotvyno, Veliatyno ("Tepli vody"), Koson ("Termalni vody Kosyno", "Eko-Termal"), Barvinok ("Zolota Hora"), Lumshory, Uzhok ("Uzhanski kupeli"). The key services that tourists receive in the studied locations are outlined, the specialization of medical and health complexes and their infrastructure are briefly described. The role and place of thermal waters of Zakarpattia and medical and health complexes operating on their basis in the formation of the program of tours on the example of the tourist company "Vidviday" ("Visit it") are analyzed. It was found that the health complex "Zhaivoronok" in Berehove, the tourist complex "Tepli vody" in the village Velyatyno, health and recreation complex "Termalni vody Kosyno" in the village Koson and the thermal complex of the hotel-ranch "Zolota hora" in the village Barvinok were most often included in various tour programs in Zakarpattia by the company "Vidviday".The scientific novelty of the obtained results lies in the generalization and systematization of information about key centers of thermal waters within the Zakarpattia region and the state of their involvement in the program of several-day tours (on the example of the company "Vidviday").
