Abstract

According to the U.S. National Cancer Institute, breast cancer is the most common cancer among women, accounting for approximately 33% of all cancers and 20% of cancer-related deaths in women in 2019 [1]. Mastectomy is the basis for the standard treatment of breast cancer. Therefore, with the increasing incidence of breast cancer, the rates of mastectomy and breast reconstruction surgery after mastectomy are also rapidly increasing [2].
