Click beetles (Coleoptera: Elateridae) from Michoacan, Mexico; annotated list of species and new records

Abstract

It represents the first contribution to the knowledge of the Elateridae family present in the state of Michoacán, Mexico. This contribution triples the number of species registered in the entity, which are classified into five subfamilies, 11 tribes, two subtribes, 22 genera and 40 species. Within these species, 28 new state records, a possible new species and the location of three endemic species can be highlighted.
