Abstract

Islamic personality is a very important part of the value of character education. This is because the formation of other characters can occur if accompanied by a noble character. The impact of the low Islamic personality of students will result in low morals and moral decadence. The destruction of the personality of the generation (students) is the base of the decline and destruction of a nation. Good morals are closely related to Islamic personality or it can be said that when someone has good morals, it can be said to have a good personality as well. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the Islamic personality development program for students at the Ummul Quro Integrated Islamic Junior High School, Bogor. The research method applied in this research is in the form of qualitative methods (library research) and field studies (field research) by reviewing program documents, observing directly how the process of implementing the Islamic personal development program and its refinement through various observations and interviews. The results of the study show that the Islamic personal development program is an important part of shaping the character and positive culture of students. The goal is to form the Islamic personality of students who have a straight aqidah, do the right worship, have a mature personality and have a noble character, become a person who is serious, disciplined, and able to hold back, has the ability to read, memorize and understand the Qur'an properly. good, have broad insight, and have life skills.
