TRAUMATIC INJURY OF FEMORAL ARTERY TREATED WITH GRAFTED AUTHENTIC OF VENA SAFENA CONTRALATERAL

Abstract

Both in the civil and military fields, vascular injuries of the lower extremities are frequent and potentially fatal. The initial support measures to combat shock, a technically correct surgical attitude aimed at early repair of the vascularization of the limb and a strict and continuous postoperative control are the basic pillars of the treatment. The autologous graft of the saphenous vein remains the reference.
