Atletismo de Pista Olímpico: Señales Históricas (Segunda Parte)

Abstract

“Olympic track athletics: historical signs (second part)” is a literature review article which presents historical aspects that have been relevant in the modern Olympics games, in the track area, both to worldwide as to the Latino American context and specifically to Colombia, which is divided in stages since the Mexico games in 1968 until the Rio of Janeiro games in 2016. Methodologically is made a literature review based in books, historical documents, specialized magazines in physics and digital, search in databases and web pages based on the thematic of the area. Conclusions: The scientific nature and systematization of sports, contributes to the improvement and evolution of the athletic results. It is evidenced the improvement in representation and Colombian results' specifically on the Ibero-American level.
