Abstract

According to article 53.1 of the International Code of Nomenclature for algae, fungi, and plants (ICN), Skvortzoviella Jia Yu, Xue W. Wang, S.L. Liu & L.W. Zhou (2021;19:12), the name of a genus of fungi described from China is illegitimate, and hence a new name Laundoniella U.B. Deshmukh is proposed here with new a combination for its type species.
