Through the bibliometric analysis of 569 academic publications selected from Scopus from 2007 to 2020, it can be found that the importance of Asian countries in social media and entrepreneurship research is increasing. Except for several countries with the most extensive international cooperation, the international cooperation of other countries is mainly limited to the continent to which the country belongs. The change of research objects in this field is accompanied by the emergence of new social media platforms. It is worth noting that combining research topics with other industries has become a trend. Abstract
This paper analyzes the changing trend of international cooperation and research topics on social media and entrepreneurship in the past decade. Through the bibliometric analysis of 569 academic publications selected from Scopus from 2007 to 2020, it can be found that the importance of Asian countries in social media and entrepreneurship research is increasing.
