Abstract

This paper presents an evaluation of muck pile fragmentation based on the Kuz-Ram empirical model. Furthermore, a comparisonof the cumulative size distribution curves obtained from the photogrammetry analysis and based on the Kuz-Ram modelwas made. Size distribution was performed based on the Kuz-Ram model and further validated in the O-Pitblast software. It wasestablished that the algorithm applied in O-Pitblast software was not modified. The difference between empirical results and in-situanalysis could be explained by, inter alia, the subjective assumption of the RMD index value.
