Data were analyzed using weighted and composite means, ranking, and Pearson Correlation. Findings showed that the Ebola Virus Disease prevention and Control Programs initiated by the government were highly implemented and effective with respect to public awareness, healthcare delivery practices, and provision of the resource. Abstract

The study, impact of Ebola Virus Disease in Nigeria, is intended to assess the prevention and control program implemented by the Nigerian government towards a successful containment of the outbreak of Ebola Virus Disease; determine the effectiveness of the program implemented in terms of public awareness, healthcare delivery practices and provision of resources; also determine the impact of the Ebola Virus Disease in terms of economic, social and psychological.
