This type of research is qualitative. The source of the research data is the text of Javanese children's songs or tembang dolanan that are still circulating in Javanese society. The data is in the form of quotations of words, expressions, or phrases in the tembang dolanan which contain character values. Data collection was carried out by reading and recording as well as by applying data analysis through critical analysis using heuristic and hermeneutic methods through content analysis.
