Abstract

The Mexican legal system experimented many changes in its labor and social security laws in 2019.The present report pretends to synthesize such changes with the objective of presenting a horizon for the evaluation at a national level and also for a future international comparative analysis. To this end, it follows a systematic analysis through a deductive and descriptive method. This approximation is made by considering that the Mexican labor and social security system changes by multiple ways and sources; creation and modification of social programs and public policies, law amendments, resolutions of the supreme court in the country and international agreements in the subject.
