Abstract
A new name, that is Phyllanthus blancoanus, was proposed by Müller Argoviensis for Blanco's P. tetrander which, in turn, is a later homonym (Art. 53.2 of Shenzhen Code) of Roxburgh's P. tetrandrus (year of publication 1845 and 1832, respectively). We accepted to treat Phyllanthus blancoanus under the genus Nymphanthus(as Nymphanthus blancoanus) according to a recent molecular data. Blanco's name is neotypified on a US specimen lacking original materials (Arts. 9.4 and 9.8 of Shenzhen Code).
