Epidemiologic Evaluation of Maxillofacial Trauma in Alzahra Hospital, Isfahan

Abstract

Purpose: In this study we aimed at analyzing epidemiological features and complications of different types of maxillofacial trauma in patients who had referred to Alzahra Hospital-Isfahan from 2005 to 2019.Methods and Materials: In this descriptive-analytical cross-sectional study, all patients with maxillofacial trauma who had been admitted to Alzahra Hospital from March 1st 2005 to February 31st 2019 were selected. Demographic information of the patient, and time, location and etiology of the accident were registered. Additionally, clinical details related to injury and treatment procedures were recorded.
