Abstract

bimaculatus (Hayashi et al ., 2004) and Odontesthes humensis (Pouey et al ., 2012), different authors have demonstrated that food frequency can affect survival. Thus, for juvenile cobias (2.0 g), it was observed that the feeding frequency of eight feeds per day, together with an ad libitum feeding rate, was suitable for improving the final weight of these fish, without causing problems like intraspecific competition or decreased survival.
