Representative surveys have been used to identify the factors that influence the purchase intention of a home, focus groups were conducted to assess qualitative aspects of cohousing, presenting it as a competitive model, and a comparative economic-financial analysis was carried out. regarding a traditional multifamily housing project. The results of the research confirm the viability of the cohousing model in Lima by recognizing a public interested in its economic and social benefits. Abstract

The problem of housing dissatisfaction positions the city of Lima as the last place in Latin America and the Caribbean, likewise, only 55.7% of Lima residents say they feel satisfied with their home.
