Human in every step ojf life will always experience changes,weather intentional or not. From the time he was in his mothe’s womb until he was born and grew up to be an adult and even become a parent. Because actually change is human nature as a creature. As well as institutions or organizations. The progress and changes of an organization will be greatly dominated by the role of a leader. The ideal leader will definitely be able to bring about conditional changes that are targeted and accurate to the institution he leads. changes that are carried out in a structured an systematic manner will bring the led institution to achieve the goals to be achieve optimally. Pondok is one of the Islamic educational institutions that has the figure of a kyai as a leader who is responsible for the continuity of the learning process in the cottage he leads. This study uses a qualitative method whose results are described descriptively and chooses the miftahul huda Islamic boarding school. which is under the leadership ok kyai Badru Tamam, M.Si as the object of research.
