Psychological concern among ortho trauma patients: A narrative review

Abstract

Injury pertaining to musculoskeletal system might be unexpected to the victim both physically and mentally. Injured person might be unprepared to be bombarded with sudden hospital visit, painful procedures and dependence on others. Presence of psychiatric illness might just aggravate the anxiety symptoms and make the prognosis poor.
