Una metodología para modelar fenómenos culturales latentes: interés público en la red Razón Pública

Abstract

: is article broadens the horizon of analysis in the eld of cultural networks, by proposing a data-based methodology to model latent cultural phenomena. By way of illustration, the methodological design was applied to a study on topics of public interest in the digital magazine Razón Pública. First, the term public interest was reviewed and justied the relevance of conceiving this type of public interest issues as latent cultural phenomena. en digital journalism in Colombia was presented as the cultural domain of the network. For the elaboration of the model, a strategy was proposed to delimit, obtain and structure the nodes of the actors and cultural objects. Finally, it was explained how the Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) technique will be used to model the magazine's topics and it will be validated with a survey if such topics are of public interest to some actors in the network.
