Abstract

A teratological case in a specimen of Glaphyrolytta viridipennis (Coleoptera: Meloidae) from Argentina is described. The case belongs to a multiple homodynamic eschistomelie in the right protarsus of the specimen. The possible causes of this malformation are discussed.
