Abstract
Neuroendocrine breast cancer is a rare form of breast cancer. It appears as a breast nodule, generally associated with general symptoms; therefore, the differential diagnosis should also be made with metastases from a primary neuroendocrine form. In this article, we present the clinical case of a patient with neuroendocrine breast cancer, the treatment and the detection and identification of the sentinel node using the Magtrace® tracer and the SentiMag® detector. Finally, a brief review of the few cases published in the literature is made.
