The Rules of the Game

Abstract

If you’re like most of the people I speak with, you’ve probably never thought of money and the pursuit of wealth as a game. When I talk with people and ask them about it, they generally say something like this to me: “Money is definitely not a game. It’s serious business.” The first step in the Busting Loose Process is to really “get” that everything within your financial world—income, net worth, investments, savings, taxes, expenses, invoices, accounts receivable and payable, profits, and so on—is part of an amazing, elaborate, gigantic, unique, and complex game.
