En consecuencia, los odontologos son considerados los profesionales de salud mas expuestos al COVID-19. Abstract
El nuevo coronavirus, SARS-CoV2, que produce la enfermedad del COVID-19, se ha convertido en una pandemia mundial; generando una emergencia de interes internacional. Existen principalmente dos formas de contagio: la directa (al toser o hablar) y la indirecta (por contacto con las membranas mucosas orales de la nariz e incluso de los ojos); sin embargo, tambien ha sido comprobada la presencia del virus en la saliva, generando un aumento de riesgo de contagio en el entorno dental.
