Abstract

Spectrofluorimetry is an analytical technique with high sensitivity, specificity, and simplicity, and is very economical. Drugs that lack native fluorescence are derivatized with reagents so that highly fluorescent compounds are formed that can be readily detected by spectrofluorimetry.
