Meningioma de la convexidad en placa: reporte de caso y revisión de la literatura

Abstract

Plaque meningioma is a rare subtype of tumor located primarily in the sphenoorbital region characterized by a hyperostotic and invasive architecture of the dura mater with unique diagnostic and treatment considerations. We present a case of plaque meningioma of the convexity in a 44-year-old patient with an adequate response to palliative surgical resection and adjuvant radiotherapy.
