The results of the bibliometric performance analysis indicate that the JIBS has increased its level of citation, as well as the number of articles and that the authors from the United States have published the most in the journal. Abstract

Abstract The Journal of International Business Studies (JIBS) is the main means of scientific communication within international business. It has been published since 1970 and is a world reference. The main objective of this work is to develop a bibliometric analysis of the characteristics of JIBS publications from 1970 to 2020.
