The real-time polymerase chain reaction was used to detect bacterial DNA.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>All samples from the control group, versus 30% from the experimental group, harbored bacterial DNA on day 90.</p><p><strong>Conclusions: </strong>This polyglycol dimethacrylate-based adhesive may be used to seal the IAI. Abstract
