Alpha-pinene (10.33%) was detected as the main monoterpene hydrocarbons (12.19%). The oxygenated sesquiterpenes constituted (9.33%); caryophyllene oxide (1.38%) was reported as the main constituent of this fraction. Abstract

The essential oil obtained by hydrodistillation from the aerial parts of Tunisian endemic Hypericum triquetrifolium Turra (Clusiaceae) was analyzed using GC and GC-MS.
