Abstract

Ee-CBP, a hevein-type antimicrobial peptide was isolated from the bark of the spindle tree (Euonymus europaeus L.). This 4992.5 Da protein exhibited a very strong antifungal activity against five different fytopathogenic fungi that were tested.
