Abstract

Comparative FISH mapping of river buffalo (Bubalus bubalis, BBU), sheep (Ovis aries, OAR), and cattle (Bos taurus, BTA) X chromosomes revealed homologies and divergences between the X chromosomes in the subfamilies Bovinae and Caprinae.
