Für die Freisetzung des Toxins ist die Stabilität der äußeren Membran und der ihr aufgelagerten Substanzen maßgebend. Abstract
The application of the degradation procedure for Gram-negative bacteria according to Bewick and Lo to Pasteurella multocida indicates that the obvious localization of the toxin is in the periplasm. Die Anwendung des Degradations Verfahrens für gramnegative Bakterien nach Bewick und Lo auf Pasteurella multocida läßt in bezug auf das Vorkommen des Toxins in der Bakterienzelle eindeutig auf dessen Lokalisation im periplasmatischen Raum schließen.
