Cytological imprint in frozen section diagnosis of sclerosing haemangioma of the lung: a case report.

Abstract

Sclerosing haemangioma of the lung is a very rare tumour, occurring in young female patients, especially those coming from the Orient. Authors report a case that can cause a major diagnostic problem, especially in the frozen section. Imprint cytology may be helpful in reaching the final suggestion to the surgeon.
