Abstract
The WAIS protocols of 22 subjects with unilateral stroke were rescored according to two "short form" methods. Correlations among versions were extremely high for the summary indices and only slightly smaller for most individual subtests. The use of an abbreviated version of the WAIS appears to be warranted, within limits, for certain purposes.
