Abstract
Photodynamic Immunomodulation
The cover illustrates a self-assembled porphyrin polymer (PTCPP) activated by near-infrared light to eradicate drug-resistant bacterial biofilms on cardiac implants. Simultaneously, PTCPP dynamically regulates macrophage polarization through immunometabolic modulation, promoting inflammation resolution and tissue regeneration. This dual antibacterial-immunomodulatory strategy provides a promising approach for preventing diabetic cardiac implant-associated infections. More details can be found in the Research Article by Jing Zhu, Xiaochen Wang, Sheng Ye, Cheng Cheng, and co-workers (DOI: 10.1002/adhm.71482).
