Abstract

Feeding difficulties in young children are common and fall along a continuum ranging from developmental variations to more persistent disorders. This article proposes viewing limits as a structuring framework that supports self-regulation, the development of feeding skills, and the quality of the parent-child relationship, both in daily life and in care settings.
