Abstract
We reported a surge of Legionnaire's disease at a tertiary hospital in Taiwan in 2024, partially attributed by falsely positive Legionella urinary antigen testing (UAT) results. Of 20 patients with positive UAT results and complete investigations, only seven (35%) had legionellosis confirmed by Legionella growth, nucleic acid detection, or seroconversion.
