Abstract
Verrucosispora sp. FIM06025 was an actinomycete isolated from marine sponge sample collected from the East China Sea. Three new compounds, including two rare cyclopropane-containing compounds, verrucacrylic acids A and B (1 and 2), and a new amino acid derivative, methyl N-[(2S)-2-methylbutanoyl]-D-tyrosinate (3), were isolated from Verrucosispora sp. FIM06025. Compounds 1-3 were structurally elucidated on the basis of extensive spectroscopic data analysis using 1D- and 2D-NMR, ECD, and HRESIMS. At a concentration of 100 µM, compounds 1 and 2 exhibited inhibitory rates of 28.6% and 45.2% against T47D cells, respectively, and 30.3% and 47.1% against HL60 cells, respectively.
