Abstract
The origin of the observed baryon imbalance of Universe remains an unresolved problem in modern cosmology. In this work, we investigate whether baryon asymmetry can be realized in the presence of power-law corrections to horizon entropy motivated by quantum entanglement. Within the emergent-spacetime framework, we derive the modified Friedmann and Raychaudhuri equations and implement a perturbative expansion around the radiation-dominated background. We demonstrate that the entropy correction results in a nonzero curvature scalar (R) and its time derivative, thereby enabling the generation of baryon asymmetry in a regime where the standard scenario yields no asymmetry. We calculate the baryon number to entropy ratio arising from the curvature-current interaction and constrain the model parameters using observational bounds. The measured baryon excess is reproduced for the value (α ≃ 1.974) of the entropy correction quantity, demonstrating that entropic modifications to cosmological dynamics provide a viable and geometrically motivated mechanism for baryogenesis. This result highlights that even minute entanglement-induced corrections can leave observable imprints on early-universe dynamics.
