Abstract
Boryldifunctionalization of alkenes has emerged as a valuable synthetic tool for constructing complex organoboron compounds. While significant advances have been achieved in carboboration reactions with B2pin2 and organohalides, the boryldifunctionalization of simple alkenes with nucleophiles remains relatively underdeveloped. Herein, we report a novel approach for 1,2-arylboration of styrenes using a palladium/copper catalytic system. This protocol enables a three-component coupling of readily available styrenes, B2pin2, and structurally diverse indoles through C–H functionalization, delivering 2-boryl-1,1-diarylalkanes in moderate to good yields.
