Abstract
A fully organic route to artificial hyperbolic metamaterials is introduced, utilizing multilayered thin films of J-aggregate dyes. These structures exhibit strong optical anisotropy, experimentally supporting hyperbolic surface exciton polaritons and surface waves in near-zero Permittivity regions. This architecture provides a robust platform for tailoring emission and energy transport, enabling the exploration of light–matter interactions at the subwavelength regime.
