Abstract
Doarest, A., and M. M. Wihardja. 2026. “The Impacts of the US-China Trade War on ASEAN Export Performance to the US: An Event-Study Analysis,” Asia & the Pacific Policy Studies e70062. https://doi.org/10.1002/app5.70062.
It should read: “When we break down the analysis by country, we find that only Thailand and Cambodia whose exports of tariff-related goods relative to non-tariff-related goods were significantly higher. By the fourth year since tariffs were imposed, the average difference between Thailandʼs exports of tariff-related goods and non-tariff-related goods was USD12 million higher compared to the base year (Figure 6a). Meanwhile, by the fourth year since tariffs were imposed, the average difference between Cambodiaʼs exports of tariffs-related goods and non-tariffs-related goods was USD3 million higher compared to the base year (Figure 6b).”
In summary, the findings should have been interpreted in terms of level instead of growth. We apologise for this error.
