Abstract

Despite growing awareness of inequities in kidney research, high-impact trials remain predominantly led by men from high-income countries, and important disparities persist in the recruitment of women and populations disproportionately affected by chronic kidney disease. It is time to move beyond acknowledgement of such disparities and commit to inclusion standards that systemically transform kidney research.
