Abstract
One of the complex congenital cardiac diseases is congenitally corrected transposition of the great arteries (cc-TGA). The most important feature of this anomaly is atrioventricular and ventriculo-arterial discordance. Several pathologies, such as subpulmonary obstruction, can accompany this anomaly. Several etiologies can cause subpulmonary obstruction. Echocardiography serves as an initial imaging method in assessing patients with this condition and in detecting accompanying anomalies. Here, we present a man with cc-TGA, accompanied by severe subpulmonic stenosis resulting from anterior systolic motion of an elongated papillary muscle with basal chordal attachment.
