Abstract
Primary squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) of the renal pelvis (<1% of upper urinary tract tumors) was diagnosed in a 58-year-old woman with anemia. MRI showed infiltrative renal pelvis mass with hydronephrosis and pancreatic tail invasion (pT4N0M0). Radical nephroureterectomy with bladder cuff, lymph node dissection, and en bloc pancreatic resection achieved complete resection despite morbid obesity. Well-differentiated keratinizing SCC with perineural invasion was confirmed externally. No adjuvant therapy was given. Five-year PET/CT showed no recurrence, demonstrating excellent long-term survival after multivisceral resection in advanced renal pelvic SCC.
