Abstract
This article summarizes current knowledge on the compatibilization of immiscible polymer blends using solid nanoparticles. The second part of the review addresses the patterns and conditions for increasing the strength and elongation at break of polymer blends with the addition of nanoparticles. A gradation of nanoparticles in terms of compatibilization efficiency is highlighted.
