Abstract
This review analyzes the current state of research into improving the heat resistance of epoxy resin-based polymer composites. It has been established that the most effective hardeners in terms of high heat resistance are multifunctional isocyanates in combination with amine catalysts. When they interact with epoxy resins, heterocyclic structures such as oxazolidone and isocyanurate can form, and the resulting polymers are characterized by glass transition temperatures of up to 300°C.
