Abstract
Cleft of the lip, alveolus, and palate is a complex congenital anomaly of the maxillofacial region, treatment of which requires a team approach and involves numerous procedures at different stages. Presurgical nasoalveolar molding (PNAM) reduces the cleft deformity as well as improves the columella-philtrum region and nose contour. This helps the surgeon achieve better postoperative results with minimal tension and a finer scar. This clinical case series showcases five cases of unilateral cleft lip and palate (CLAP) treated with Grayson's technique of PNAM before primary surgical lip repair. Model analysis showed a substantial amount of reduction of cleft deformity in all five cases, which helped in achieving superior postoperative results.
