Abstract

With a growing number of molecules to investigate as potential treatments for inflammatory bowel disease, an important advance has been through the use of more innovative and novel trial designs. This includes the VIBRATO and PIZZICATO umbrella trials, which efficiently provided novel insights for both ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease.
