Abstract
This chapter examines the optimization of technology transfer (T2) processes within multi-omics research, focusing on how such transfers can be aligned with European Union (EU) Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) regulations. Specifically, the study investigates how ESG principles such as environmental sustainability, social inclusion, and governance can guide the commercialization of omics-driven innovations while ensuring equitable healthcare access. The purpose is to explore how T2 processes in multi-omics can be aligned with EU ESG regulations, including the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR). The study also examines how T2 can foster equitable healthcare access by aligning with EU policies on social inclusion and the Right to Health (RtH). Through this alignment, we aim to propose a framework integrating ESG principles into T2 models, addressing environmental impact, social responsibility, and governance concerns within the biomedical and healthcare sectors.
